I have a son Daniel who just recently became a volunteer fireman in a little town in Lexington, Michigan. I am so proud of him for taking on this profession after all that has happened in this world. At times I am afraid of what might happen, but I know that my God is big enough to care for him and keep him safe while he serves. I pray for him every morning and night that he will be kept safe if he is called to serve, and with those prayers I know he is in Gods hand. I am so sorry for all the lose of those who died or lost loved ones on 9-11. You are in our prayers, and in turn please remember my boy as he gives with a loving heart for others as I am sure many of yours did. God Bless you all.

Heidi,
Bless your son and thank you to him and your family. It is amazing to me that there are people in the world who are willng to give their own lives to save others. They are very special souls and we are lucky to have them.

On the nights I can't sleep, I search the web looking for anything that will make me feel closer to my brother, Captain Vincent Giammona. Tonight I thank you for remembering not to forget him and all his fallen brothers of September 11, 2001.

Linda, I'm sorry for your loss. I know what it's like to lose a brother too soon. That empty spot in your heart never fills up again. God Bless.
