I Love My Job

  • LOL – I love how it ends. :D

I had a job last year (notice the fact that it’s past tense) as a dressing room assistant (I referred to myself as “Lord of the Closet”), which was interesting to say the least. Between explaining to countless men on a regular basis that “Women’s Dressing Room” does in fact mean men aren’t allowed — even though it doesn’t specifically state that on the sign — and spending forty hours a week in a room the size of closet, I felt like I was going to need the friendly men in their clean white coats to come and take me away.

But it did help pay the bills, I came away with some pretty good stories about some pretty weird people, and I now always put the clothing back on the hanger. ;-)

Well see, you got some good fodder for stories, and learned a couple of good habits – even bad jobs turn out good things, eh?

  • Oh, boy.
Someone needs some happy pills and a bedtime story.
    Hang in there kiddo.
We’ll catch up over the weekend.
Look on the bright side, it’s Thursday… ;)

Yeah, happy pills – not so much. But I could use some chocolate. ;) Oh yeah and talking tomorrow. Good.

I know, I have to see if I can rescale it so you can read it. I didn’t notice that till you mentioned it.

Hey Girl, how you doing? When are you gonna start blogging again?

  • Is the new job wearing old already? :( That is a cute poem though.

Nah, the new job is good really. But the poem I thought was fun.

  • Sorry, I actually wasn’t able to relate to this at all, I actually love my job; it’s great. (HaHaHa Boom) Great post.

  • The poem is fun. Can’t beat Dr. Zeus for a zaney,
playful go at life. Thanks for the post!

Yep ol’ doc suess is cool – but i suspect it wasn’t written by him. A friend just sent it in an email and I thought it was fun.

  • I loved Dr Zeus as a kid, and I still do!! What I find interesting is that Zeus doesn’t get picked up by the spell checker :)
    Kelly

Maybe it is an accepted term in your spellchecker. Wasn’t there a story called I love green words and ham?
    WC

  • Well if I actually spelled it correctly instead of copying it from comment above me I may get my facts straigth. Seuss is also not picked up by my spell checker!

    LOL!
