Peacocks Part II – Got 'em!
April 1, 2009
Well guess who I ran into on my morning walk this morning? I probably got about 50 shots of them but these were some of the best. I was amazed at how docile they were and how close they let me get to them.

Their pretty to look at but they are too damned noisy to live next to.

I suppose, but compared to Zelda’s beagles they aren’t so loud.

beautiful creatures.
they can be aggressive buggers. dont let ‘em charge you.
Hey Red,
So far, they seem very docile. Zelda says they will eat right out of your hand if you have dogfood for them. Not sure I’m ready for that close of contact – but I did get within a few feet of them and they didn’t seem bothered by it at all.

Great pictures of the peacocks. Maybe next time the boys will show off their plummage for you.

Ain’t they purty? Not sure they are going to display their feathers though – I believe that is reserved for hot young peahens.

My next to youngest brother used to have a license to keep rare and unusual birds of which he had a peacock. They are beautiful birds to me.

Hey Jim,
Yeah they really are gorgeous, aren’t they? Especially up close, the colors are out of this world. I’ve never seen anything like it.

Beautiful! Between them and the bird house tree, you certainly live in an interesting neighborhood.
