Well the La Canada fire is climbing closer to home. I took these pics about ten minutes ago, while standing in front of my house.
If you don’t hear from me for a while I might be reachable in some evac center somewhere.

The only thing that comes to mind is, run like hell? You be careful! On the other hand, it is kind of pretty. Y’all going to have a block party and watch it together?

Your CA smoke was very evident in CO today, which gives me just a hint as to how big the fire out there must be. Stay safe, and I hope they get everything under control soon.

Yeah, it’s going in all directions. Up until today I was watching blazing hills just down the block from me. It’s crazy. Keep your fingers crossed.

So far, most of us are okay – and my neighborhood now appears to be safe. It was/is a bad one – the price we pay for living in California I guess.
