The Magic of Chalk

Beerman, the chalk artist has more amazing entries I just had to share:

I think my favorite is the one with Batman – but hey I wouldn’t kick any of them out of the neighborhood. It never ceases to amaze me how much a true artist can do with so little. Incredible. Bravo I say!

  1. Julian Beever is wonderful, isn’t he?
I’ve had a link to his website on my blog forever.
    Great stuff.

Really great stuff. I’d love to actually see one up close and personal – I have the sense I’d get vertigo from looking at it. 😉

  2. Wow! Amazing! I personally like the dead fly.

Hey! Maybe I can get him to do one for your birthday on the 17th! I’ll have to check into that 😉 Better than a stripper, huh?

LOL – what are you the birthday announcement lady? Whassup? 😉

  3. I agree…love the one of Batman!! But yeah, you do get a slightly lightheaded looking at it!

There were a few that gave you a different perspective of these – which really could give you a bad case of vertigo! Still, I’d love to actually see one in person – that would be great fun.

  4. He has some better and awesomer ones. But still, that’s pretty much one of the coolest things ever to grace the undeserving internet.

Couldn’t have said it better myself DT.

  5. As a Spidey fan, I am so wanting the Spidey chalk art.

I know! I wish he had posters or something. Too bad you can’t call him up and have him come do a chalk mural on the side of your house or something. That’d be tres’ cool, eh?

  8. Truly a master of dimension–the sense of dimension is unbelievable. You feel like you could reach down and give those folks a hand, only to find they are drawings plastered on a flat cement surface.

Absolutely, you almost get a touch of vertigo when you look at his stuff, don’t you ?

  9. Wow. I’m digging the Batman one as well. Love this.

Don’t you wish he’d come and do one on your livingroom wall or something? That would be so cool!
