Pics of the Week

Here’s an odd array of pics – they all have their own special charm:

How’d you like to find this while doing roadwork?

Or this? Yep, Florida has its own special hazards.

It ain’t easy being an Albino – clearly the result of a mixed marriage????

Now, we know why they call it Y.

Nothing like nostalgia.

Have a great weekend, folks.

  1. Gosh, the first two are horrifying… Not a big fan of the snake, and I have nightmares about crocs/gators… but I love, love, love the generation “Y” pic – absolutely hilarious! Have a great weekend too Annie

    Hey Bella!
Yeah, can you imagine, you’re a road worker minding your own business and then these little creatures show up? Criminy – talk about giving your heart a jumpstart. All I can is I’m glad I don’t live in Florida anymore. πŸ˜‰

  2. I love the generation Y – brilliant

Hi Trish and welcome – I have to give my friend Gerry a hat tip for that one. It’s priceless though, isn’t it?

  3. Ugh, that first one gave me the weebie-geeebies!

Yeah, instead of snakes on a plane it’s snakes in a drain – far more frightening if you ask me. πŸ˜†

  4. I think I just changed my mind about moving to Florida. Eek. That thing looks prehistoric.

Well, 2LD, if you don’t like 101% humidity and living in a swamp, Florida may not be for you. I survived 6 months there and was miserable the whole time. πŸ˜‰

  5. I think that alligator was bigger than me. Or was it a crocodile? Either way – holy crap! Not that the snakes would’ve given me any less fright. But great picture post, Annie! Happy Weekend! πŸ™‚

Hey Teens, you know I have no idea if it was a gator or a croc – but it was scary, eh? You know, when I lived in Florida, they always warn you to keep your pets away from any body of water because there may be some snapping critter in there. Nice, eh?

  6. Have a ball this weekend Annie and watch out for Flying Albino Crocosnakes.

    Di. X

    LOL Di,
Only you could come up with that. πŸ˜‰
    Annie xo

  7. Thanks, Annie; I was just having breakfast when I saw the first photo! Urgh. I hate snakes; finding that would be my worst nightmare. πŸ˜•

The deer are cute, though. And I love the Gen Y pic… unfortunately that makes him part of my generation; if he’s anything like the rest of us, we’re all doomed! πŸ™‚ Hope you have a great weekend.

    Hey CJ!
So sorry about spoiling your breffy. The deer are sweet, huh? I wouldn’t worry too much about your trousers falling down around your you know what – you may just be the exception to the rule. πŸ™‚
