UPDATE: She is doing much better, her chest tube has been removed and she’s been taken off her sedative drip. She’s been upgraded from critical to serious and has been cleared for her next operation which will repair her broken pelvis. This is really miraculous when you consider it’s been less than 48 hours since the accident. The prayers are working, please keep them up and thank you from the bottom of my heart.
So, the last 24 hours have been hell. Lots of phone calls, lots of tears, lots of worry. Lots of waiting.
She’s doing better – and that’s a good sign. But things are still so very much up in the air until she regains consciousness. Because of the incredible person that she is and how very much she is loved, she is surrounded by people doing everything they can to help. If love is a cure, then she will be cured no doubt.
I thank all of you for your prayers and good wishes, I know they make a difference. I truly believe in the power of prayer and hope and know that it does produce miracles. I’m hoping with all my heart that this time is no exception.
In the meantime, I’m around and will be doing some blogging. I have to keep my mind busy.
