I love the Dean Koontz quote too – and that he always includes dogs in his stories. I’m afraid I do too.
But I also love that Heinlein quote.
Happy to share, feel free to spread them around – all the images were free, so no copyright issues to worry about.
Thanks for stopping by and have a great weekend, Rose.

Hi Kait!
I am a total sucker for dogs as well. You can’t take me to a pound or shelter without my wanting to set them all free and/or bring them home with me. LOL – that bulldog is a real keeper. Something about those ugly/cute dogs that really gets to you, isn’t there?

Yes he is a total cutie! I feel so bad for all the dogs in the shelter, poor things! We tried to rescue one once and by the end of the first day he almost bit my toddler. From then on out we have went with puppies for the littles. If they haven’t been around kids their whole lives it’s hard for them to understand unfortunately.

Yes, unfortunately you can’t adopt older dogs when you have really small kids. Unless you know they’re history and know they can behave around kids. Puppies probably are the best way to go. Sad.
