  1. This is a great blog, if there any voters here You may want to check out the
    article Osama for Osama
for Obama!! Donor Exposed – Flagged by FEC
    as well as the article
where Obama orders FBI to slap a Sheriff for saying his middle name at
a Palin event. His middle name is “Hussein”. Have a blessed day.

Hi Tattler and welcome to my little dive. Gee, thanks, what a nice thing to say. I do believe I’ve read that story – you just never know, do you? πŸ˜‰

  2. Another warning or is it side effect? I dunno. Margaritas may turn you into a world class race car driver able to outrun all forms of law enforcement.

I think it may classify as a side effect and dang good one at that. πŸ˜‰

  3. Ha, actually the one remedy I was prescribed while working in Spain: Sangrias.
    Extra benefit: Improves Spanish!

    Have a great week.

Ahhh, when in Spain do as the Spainards do, eh? πŸ˜†

  4. Can you slam em.

    Hi Annie.

Great funny post. I don’t mind a few of those side effects, erotic lustness being my first one. I know.. I think I might start drinking Margs.

Yep, I can slam ’em. πŸ˜‰ I do believe it could be a universal cure. πŸ˜†

  5. @Spaz – I find my French greatly improves the more wine I drink. I personally think that alcohol consumption should be part of mastering a foreign language.

That’s funny, my Russian doesn’t improve when I drink Stolie. πŸ˜‰

  6. oh my gosh ~ you crack me up!! : ) tee hee

    Hey Dar,
Glad you got a chuckle, but I can’t take credit for this, it was sent to me in an email by my friend Jenny.

  7. Margaritas may not be appropriate for job interviews, meetings with the Pope or Space Shuttle navigation… they may be mandatory.

With or without cocktail napkins? πŸ˜‰

  8. Yes, I’m the one with the big hat and the empty glass, needing a refill! LOL. These were great, Annie!

And I’m the one with the dazed look and an empty glass. πŸ˜† Yeah, they are a hoot, aren’t they?

  9. Oh my goodness you crack me up. Thank you so much for that! I think I need them Margarita’s once in a while…

    Hey Girl!
A good laugh is a good thing, huh? πŸ˜‰

  10. Hi Annie,

Sorry, but margaritas don’t do anything but raise my blood pressure from all the salt. If I’m going to drink tequila with the expectation of feeling some effect, it has to be straight. Of course, I’m in training for the 2012 Olympic games, just in case they decide to include drinking as a sport and I get called to serve my country.

    the Grit

Well heck fire, Grit, I’d travel all the way to Memphis to see that competition. πŸ˜‰

  11. I was able to answer No to all three questions but I still want Margaritas. Will the side effects be even greater for me? Great funny post, Annie.

I dunno Joanie, let’s try it out. πŸ˜‰ These were funny, huh? No idea who wrote it – just got sent to me in an email.

  12. Margaritas are awesome! As are mojitos and Tokyo teas.

Actually, anything with booze and friends is pretty amazing.

This made me laugh. It was like a cyber-margarita. πŸ™‚

I could use a few of those myself – can you get drunk on the cyber ones? 😦

  13. We are on to something here. I always said that local alcohol does help loosen that foreign tongue…… even Russian……

I’d have to disagree with you on that – but then what’s new? πŸ˜‰

  14. hhehehehe! whispering when you are not.
know that feeling all too well .. Im a loud whispererererer when ive had too many Margariiiiiiiiiitas!
    funny entry, annie.

Yeah, what’s up with that, Red – the whispering when you’re drunk? Maybe alcohol makes it sound loud in your ears???

  15. I’m so glad that it only applies to Margaritas. Imagine if champagne had the same effect. No don’t – its too ugly to even think about.

And as for the Stolies, they don’t improve my Russian either, maybe we both got a bad batch????

Or maybe we’d rather drink than speak Russian???? πŸ˜‰

  16. And in my case, Margaritas cause severe diarrhea of the Mouth as my Mother would say. I have to stay away from the Brown stuff. It’s never good….
but it sure is funny as hell. Great post!!!!

Here’s to drinking Margaritas. Shit, now I want to go to the store for alcohol.

Oh yeah, I’ve had that affliction – and it’s a good one. Well as long as you’re going, do you mind getting some for me? πŸ˜†

  17. Annie, I have a feeling that you and I could put a hurtin’ on a bottle (or four) of wine. What do you think?

    Hey Kim,
I have a feeling you may be right – and we may just have the opportunity to do that sometime in the not too distant future, eh? πŸ˜‰

  18. ROFLMAO!

There is probably a similar warning for bourbon and diet coke too, isn’t there?

Yes, I think you could take this and replace margaritas with your drink of choice and it would work just fine. πŸ˜†

What do you think?
